The Aam Aadmi Party has won the by-election held on the Ludhiana West assembly seat in Punjab. The party's candidate Sanjeev Arora defeated Congress' Bharat Bhushan Ashu by a margin of 10,637 votes. BJP's Jeevan Gupta and Shiromani Akali Dal's Parupkar Singh Ghuman stood at third and fourth positions respectively. At the same time, AAP candidate Italia Gopal also won the by-election on the Visavadar seat in Gujarat. 4 new Covid cases reported in Ludhiana today

4 new Covid cases have been reported in Ludhiana, Punjab today. These patients include two men aged 51 and 65 and two women aged 42 and 63. These patients were found in the urban area.
