Police Begin Clearing Punjab-Haryana Shambhu and Khanauri Borders After 13 Months
Punjab Police has begun reopening the Shambhu and Khanauri borders between Punjab and Haryana, which have been closed for 13 months. The protesting farmers have been removed from the area, and the shelters constructed by the farmers have been demolished using bulldozers.
Reports indicate that the police, led by Patiala Range DIG Mandeep Singh, forcibly detained the farmers and transported them to buses.
Patiala SSP Nanak Singh also arrived at the Shambhu border, stating that by morning, all farmers who had gathered from various parts of Punjab would be completely removed.

Third Round of Talks Between Centre and Farmer Leaders Scheduled in Chandigarh Tomorrow
Amid the ongoing farmer protests at the Punjab-Haryana borders, the third round of talks between the Centre and farmer organisations is set to take place in Chandigarh on Wednesday. Bikram Singh Majithia Appears Before SIT for Second Consecutive Day
Former Shiromani Akali Dal minister, Bikram Singh Majithia, appeared before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) led by DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar at Patiala Police Lines for the second consecutive day today.
