Indian-origin man arrested in US for plotting to kill wife

A man of Indian origin in the US, Darshan R. Soni, has been arrested for plotting to kill his wife. He has been charged with attempted murder and conspiracy to commit murder. This is a case from Hamilton County, Indiana.

According to the report, 44-year-old Soni involved one of his employees, Ken Cox, in the conspiracy and allegedly according to this plan, the wife was first poisoned and when this conspiracy failed, a house burglary was planned on May 16, 2025, during which the murder was to be committed.

The case came to light when an informant tipped off the police about the conspiracy. On being questioned by the police, Cox admitted that Soni had offered him money in exchange for this incident. At the same time, the victim has allegedly declared Soni innocent in this case.
