Punjabi actor and producer Ranjha Vikram Singh of 25 Kille fame has been helping out the less privileged ever since the pandemic struck us. And recently on his birthday, he did seva with the Gauri Shankar Seva Dal.
Ranjha said that during these times of struggle, he can only count my blessings and the best way to keep getting is to keep giving. "I knew this NGO for a long time. They have done tremendous work over the years and especially during the pandemic. It was my good fortune that I got to do seva with them,” he said.
The 'Fauji Calling' star adds that the situation today is really heartbreaking. "It pains me to see people losing their loved ones to COVID-19. I don't feel it right to celebrate my birthday during such grim times. I just wanted to do whatever best I could do during this lockdown. I went for seva. I went to a gaushala in Sector 45, Chandigarh where I went from morning to lunch time. It gives me immense satisfaction to do my bit in whatever little way possible. There were a lot of people standing in queue for food. And all of them were maintaining social distancing. I hope this pandemic gets over soon and the whole country gets vaccinated soon," he says.
