Now, a biopic on Fauja Singh

Filmmaker Omung Kumar B will be making a film on 109-year-old Sikh Superman, Fauja Singh who broke records as a marathon runner.
Omung took to social media to share this news.
He wrote- "My next film... FAUJA The Sikh Superman."
Omung is known for directing biopics like Mary Kom, Sarbjit and PM Narendra Modi.
‘Fauja' the film is based on the book 'Turbaned Tornado' written by Chandigarh-based writer Khushwant Singh.
Omung shared a statement on the same, where he said that the story of Fauja Singh depicts the insurmountable odds stacked against him and what sheer power of will can make of someone who is challenged medically, by age and by society.
