Delhi High Court grants interim relief to actor Rajpal Yadav in cheque bounce case

The Delhi High Court has granted interim relief to Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav in an ongoing cheque bounce case, allowing him to avoid being sent back to jail for now.

During a recent hearing, the court noted that Yadav has deposited a substantial portion of the outstanding amount related to the case. Based on this, the court said he would not be taken back into custody at this stage.

According to court proceedings, the matter has been scheduled for further hearing on April 1. The court made it clear that the next hearing will not be deferred and indicated that a final decision is expected at that time.

The bench also signalled that this opportunity should be treated as a final chance for compliance in the case.
