Bollywood character artist Junior Mehmood known for his roles in films like Mera Naam Joker and Haathi Mere Saathi died following a lengthy battle with stomach cancer. The sad news was shared by his son Hasnain. Junior Mehmood whose real name was Naeem Sayyed started his career with Mohabbat Zindagi Hai. He was given the name Junior Mehmood by Bollywood comedian Mehmood after the two worked together in the film Suhag Raat.

Both stand-up comedians and actors Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover took to their respective social media accounts to share a video about them coming together for a new show on Netflix. Sunil Grover was an intrinsic part of the The Kapil Sharma show till the infamous tiff that led to his exit. Years later the two have now joined hands for another comedy show on Netflix. Punjabi film actor Himanshi Khurana took to her social media account to announce her separation with long-time beau, Asim Riaz. The two met each other on reality show Bigg Boss and have been dating since. Himanshi told her fans that the couple is no longer together due to some religious reasons. Bollywood actor Bobby Deol has now eventually spoken about his short, almost 15- minutes role in the Sandeep Vanga Reddy film Animal. Talking to various media channels about his short role, Bobby said that he always knew that he would only be shooting for 15 days and that he is grateful for the small yet impactful role in the film. Popular television personality Dinesh Phadnis, known for his role of Inspector Fredericks in the longest running TV crime show CID, passed away due to multiple organ failure. The actor was on a ventilator and undergoing treatment at a hospital in Mumbai. Dinesh was also part of a popular show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah and also starred in films Super 30 and Sarfarosh.
