Sidhu Moosewala’s Hologram Tour Postponed Following Parvinder Jhotta’s Killing

Balkaur Singh, father of late Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu Moosewala, has decided to postpone the remaining shows of his son’s “Signed to God” hologram tour in Canada and the United States following the killing of anti-drug activist Parvinder Singh Jhotta in Mansa, Punjab.

In a social media post, Balkaur Singh said the decision was taken in view of the tense situation in Punjab and the ongoing protests against Jhotta’s killing. Emphasizing his priorities, he said, “Punjab comes first for us.”

He added that his constituency, Mansa, and the entire state of Punjab remain his top priority.

Apologizing to fans in Calgary and the United States, Balkaur Singh said he would not be able to meet them this time. However, he assured fans that the tour would return soon with an improved presentation of Sidhu Moosewala’s music.
