SAD delegation urges Punjab Guv to dismiss CM Bhagwant Mann from office
Blaming Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for Punjab Singer Sidhu Moose Wala's murder, a party delegation led by Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) chief Sukhbir Singh Badal on Monday met Governor Banwarilal Purohit urging him to dismiss the latter from his office.
Badal also demanded the National Investigation Agency (NIA) probe the killing of Moose Wala that took place yesterday in the Mansa district of Punjab.

Moose Wala murder plot hatched in Delhi's Tihar Jail?
The murder plot of Sidhu Moose Wala is suspected to have been hatched in Delhi's Tihar Jail, as a phone number in connection with the singer's killing has been tracked back to the jail, according to sources.

Sidhu Moose Wala murder: Inquiry ordered into singer's security reduction, commission under HC judge to probe case
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Monday ordered an inquiry into the decision to reduce the security of Punjabi singer and Congress leader Sidhu Moose Wala, who was murdered in broad daylight on Sunday.
The Chief Minister's Office, in a statement, said, "The Chief Minister has already ordered an inquiry at the highest level to enquire into the aspects of security reduction and fix responsibility."
Mann "categorically" said that all the aspects of security reduction of the late singer are under scrutiny and the responsibility of lapse, if any, will be definitely fixed.

Suspicious object found along a road in Kelowna confirmed to be an explosive
RCMP say a suspicious object found along a West Kelowna road has been confirmed to be an explosive. The Mounties say they received a report of a suspicious object on the shoulder of Bartley Road yesterday morning and called their Explosives Disposal Unit. They say the experts confirmed it was an explosive device and destroyed it. An investigation is ongoing.

Vancouver police say woman arrested after allegedly abducting two children
Police say a woman has been arrested in connection with the abduction of two children in Vancouver. Const. Tania Visintin says the woman took the seven- and nine-year-old sisters from their mother's home last night, but they are now safe. She said earlier the woman was known to the family but there was no indication that either child had been harmed or was in imminent danger. Investigators believed there was no concern for the safety of any other children in the Strathcona neighbourhood.
