Je Jatt Vigad Geya goes on the floor
In June 2019, Punjabi film director, actor Amberdeep Singh took to his social media handle to announce a movie titled Je Jatt Vigad Geya, and now we hear that the shoot of the same has gone on the floors.
Written and directed by Amberdeep Singh, the movie stars B Jayy Randhawa, Nimrat Khaira, Aditi Sharma, karamjit Anmol and Gurpreet Bhangu in pivotal roles.
The release date of the same is yet to be confirmed.
Meanwhile, Amberdeep Singh’s Punjabi film, Jodi starring Diljit Dosanjh and Nimrat Khaira in the lead will hit the theatres on June 24, 2021.

Sunanda Sharma teams up with Nawazuddin Siddiqui
Punjabi composer B Praak has announced a new project with Punjabi singer Sunanda Sharma and Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui. This project marks their first collaboration.
The makers have released the poster of ‘Baarish Ki Jaaye’.
B Praak went on his Instagram to share a story on the same, he wrote, “6 PM DO TAKE A SCREENSHOT OF MY STORY AND POST WHEN THE POSTER IS OUT BHAT PROUD WALI BAAT HAI FOR OUR INDUSTRY SPLY PUNJAB INDUSTRY.”
The poster revealed that the superhit duo Jaani and B Praak will collaborate once again, and Arvindr Khaira will direct the music video.

Snowman gets a release date!
Director Rana Ranbir shared the release date of his upcoming Punjabi film, Snowman. The film starring Neeru Bajwa, Jazzy B, Arshi Khatkar will be released in theatres on September 10.
The movie is based on a very different subject, as quoted by Rana Ranbir in the wrap up post that read - “#snowman di shooting complete ho gayi hai. Totally different experience. Ik vakhri film vekhan nu milu. Main apnian boundaries tod k eh subject kita hai.”

Diljit Dosanjh savours delicacies in Canada
Keeping up with the tradition of entertainment on social media, Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh recently shared an Insta story featuring one of his latest creations, stir-fried veggies and some charred chicken.
The Punjabi singer is in Vancouver, Canada to shoot for his upcoming film, Honsla Rakh, which also stars Sonam Bajwa and reality TV star Shehnaaz Gill.
In the story, Diljit’s friend was seen charring some pieces of chicken for him that impressed the singer-actor to the core.

Galwakdi gets a new release date
Punjabi singer-actor Tarsem Jassar and Wamiqa Gabbi starrer Galwakdi was earlier supposed to release last year on April 2. However, now the much-awaited project finally has a release date. The film will now be released in theatres on June 11, 2021.
Tarsem Jassar shared the new poster of the movie on his social media account.
The movie is helmed by Sharan Art, and it has been written by Randeep Chahal and produced by Manpreet Johal, Ashu Munish Sahni and Aniket Kawade.
The film also stars B.N. Sharma and Raghveer Boli in pivotal roles.

Punjabi singer Afsana Khan recently got engaged to Punjabi singer Saaz. The two made their engagement public by posting pictures and videos on her Instagram handle. Amrinder Gill and Munish Sahni announce two collaborations
Punjabi singer-actor Amrinder Gill’s banner Rhythm Boyz Entertainment and producer Munish Sahni’s Omjee Star Studios have joined hands for two movies for the year 2021. The two Production Houses haven’t disclosed the details of their upcoming collaborations, but they have shared an announcement to mark the calendars as they will be hitting the big screens on August 6 and September 24.
Sharing the announcement, the filmmakers wrote the caption- “Team #RhythmBoyzEntertainment and #OmjeeStarStudios promise to entertain you all in cinemas! Mark the Dates.”

Kali Jotta time
Punjabi actors Wamiqa Gabbi, Neeru Bajwa and Satinder Sartaaj have embarked on the journey of their new movie Kali Jotta. This is the first time that these three will be seen sharing the screen space together. Wamiqa took to her social media handle to share a video of the mahurat day from the sets of the movie.
