Yesteryear actress Geeta Behl succumbed to Covid in Mumbai on May 1, 2021.

She was admitted to a hospital after her condition deteriorated. The actress was on ventilator support for some days but her condition soon worsened.

Geeta Behl made her acting debut with the blockbuster film Main Tulsi Tere Aangan Ki. She was seen opposite Rishi Kapoor in Do Premee and Maine Jeena Seekh Liya.

Geeta entered Punjabi cinema with film Yaar Gariban Da opposite Yograj Singh but the film was a delayed-release. The film also starred Daljit Kaul and Satish Kaul in lead roles. Later she was seen in yet another Punjabi film, Husn De Hulaare starring Kuldeep Kalsi and Raj Babbar. Geeta retired from films in 1991.
