President Sunil Jakhar was absent from the state meeting of Punjab BJP held yesterday. This has deepened the mystery of his resignation. BJP's Punjab affairs in-charge Vijay Rupani presided over the meeting in Chandigarh.
In it, discussions were held regarding the Panchayat elections and the upcoming 4 by-elections. Jakhar's relatives say that President Sunil Jakhar is in Delhi since September 27 and he had already informed that he will not be able to come to the Chandigarh meeting.
However, Jakhar's absence from every important meeting seems to be turning into a reality.
