More rain and thundershowers are forecast today across southern and southeastern BC and that is keeping flood concerns high across those regions.

The River Forecast Centre boosted Kelowna's Mission Creek to a flood watch this morning as the waterway saw a jump in levels overnight with rain runoff expected to push levels even higher today and tomorrow.

The downpours have also prompted yet another evacuation alert for part of the Sicamous Creek Mobile Home Park, the fourth alert since May as 27 properties are at a high risk of being hit by a debris flow from the unstable hillside above.

Flood watches are in effect for the Nechako, Thompson and South Thompson rivers and there's no sign of an end to the flood warning that has covered the Quesnel River east of Williams Lake since last month.
