Former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and his wife Maharani Praneet Kaur have expressed grief over the incident that happened yesterday at the Khanuri border.

He said that it was very sad to know about the death of 21-year-old Shubkaran Singh yesterday during the demonstration at Khanuri border.

Our heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased youth in this time of sorrow. Along with this, he hoped for an early solution to the farmers' demands.

Captain Amarinder Singh said in a statement that it is my prayer to God that the farmers' issues are resolved soon and they return to their families safely.
