Punjab BJP president Sunil Jakhar has made the first comment regarding the swearing-in of Amritpal Singh, the head of the Punjab organization, who won from Lok Sabha constituency Khadur Sahib. He said that Amritpal Singh can be allowed to take oath as per the law, but he is against releasing a person who defied the law from jail. He said that the law is one for all, those who are involved in serious crimes should not be released from jail. It is to be noted that Amritpal Singh is currently imprisoned in Dibrugarh Jail in Assam, he will be sworn in as a Member of Parliament on July 5.
