Recently, the Rural Development and Panchayat Department had sent the file regarding the Panchayat elections to the Chief Minister's Office, which has been given the green signal by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.

Notification regarding panchayat elections in Punjab has been issued. Panchayat elections will be held in the state before 20 October 2024. The Panchayat Department will send this notification to the Punjab State Election Commission and the Election Commission will issue the schedule of the Panchayat elections on this basis and the announcement of the election dates is possible at any time.

According to sources, panchayat elections can be held on October 13. Recently, the Rural Development and Panchayat Department had sent the file regarding the Panchayat elections to the Chief Minister's Office, which has been given the green signal by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
