A woman who hails from a minority ethnic community has been chosen as India's new president. On Thursday, Droupadi Murmu became the first president from one of the country's tribes and the second-ever female president of India. Three people died and four others were injured after a speeding ambulance toppled at a toll gate, near Karnataka's Byndoor on Wednesday. The incident took place at Shiroor in Udupi district's Byndoor taluk. As per information, the ambulance was moving a patient from Honnavar to Udupi. Seven people were travelling in the ambulance. Two Sidhu Moose Wala killers were gunned down after a heavy exchange of fire with Punjab Police near Amritsar on Wednesday, according to an official.
