Amritpal Singh will contest independent elections from Khadur Sahib

Punjab's Khadur Sahib Lok Sabha seat will be contested as an independent candidate by Amritpal Singh, the head of the Punjab organization. This was confirmed by his mother Balwinder Kaur. It is to be noted that at present Amritpal Singh along with his colleagues are locked up in Dibrugarh Jail of Assam under the National Security Act. Punjab Police arrested Amritpal Singh in April 2023 from Rode village of Moga district.
