Kangana Ranaut's film 'Emergency' could not be released today due to not getting a certificate from the Censor Board. Kangana also tweeted about it. She said that she is sharing with a heavy heart that the film has been postponed and she is still waiting for the certificate from the Censor Board.

Kangana said that a new date will be announced soon for the release of the film.

It is to be noted that this film is surrounded by controversies and the Bombay High Court has directed the Censor Board to consider the objections raised about the film and take a decision regarding the certificate by September 18. After this, the court will hear it on September 19.
