The Delhi High Court requested a response from the creators of the film "Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legal" concerning actor Salman Khan's request for a release stay. Khan's legal team argued that the movie is allegedly based on the blackbuck poaching incident linked to him, infringing upon a court order safeguarding his personality rights.
Justice Neena Bansal Krishna's vacation bench issued notices to the film's producers, Amit Jani and Akshay Pandey, and scheduled a hearing for June 19. Although the film's release date remains unclear, the filmmakers released a trailer that same day.
Khan's attorney claimed that the film's character closely resembles the actor and includes distinctive elements, such as a bracelet, that are immediately recognizable as associated with him, further justifying the plea.
