Five individuals have been charged in relation to the death of "Friends" star Matthew Perry, which resulted from "the acute effects of ketamine" last October.

At a press conference, Martin Estrada, the U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California, revealed a startling array of charges against the five defendants.

Physician Salvador Plasencia, 42, and Jasveen Sangha, 41, also known as the "Ketamine Queen" of North Hollywood, are facing 18 criminal charges for allegedly distributing ketamine to Matthew Perry in the weeks leading up to the actor’s death.

The case also involves co-conspirators including Perry’s live-in assistant Kenneth Iwamasa, 59; Dr. Mark Chavez, 54; and Erik Fleming, 54, described as an acquaintance of Perry. These individuals are implicated in the alleged distribution network surrounding Perry's final days.
