Rumour has it that Bollywood’s popular jodi Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez will mark their debut in the Punjabi entertainment industry. As per sources, the two stars will be featured in Punjabi singer-actor Harrdy Sandhu’s next romantic musical video. The lyrics of the song will be penned by lyricist Jaani and the music will be produced by B Praak under Desi Melodies banner.

Punjabi singer-actor Amrit Mann took to his social media account to share the first-look poster of his upcoming Punjabi film, Hakam. Amrit's on screen character's name in the film is Babbar. The film is written and directed by Amar Hundal. The release date of the film is yet to be announced. Punjabi sufi singer Manmeet Singh apparently died after slipping and falling into a rivulet in the Kareri lake area of Himachal Pradesh's Kangra district, police said on Wednesday. The body of one-half of Punjab's famed Sain brothers was recovered from the Kareri lake area on Tuesday evening. According to McLeod Ganj Police SHO, Vipin Kumar, the singer and his friends had gone to two groups to the lake area above Mcleodganj in Dharamshala and had apparently slipped and fallen into the lake crossing a rivulet.

Punjabi film actor-director Nav Bajwa is all set to make his Bollywood debut. Nav has signed a Hindi film as lead opposite Bollywood actor Ameesha patel. The release date of actor Hardeep Grewal’s debut Punjabi film ‘Tunka Tunka’ has been postponed. The film was earlier set to hit the theatres on July 16. Hardeep Grewal took to his social media and posted a picture from the film announcing delay in the film’s release.
