The Surrey Open tennis tournament will officially open on Friday evening at Newton Athletic Park in Surrey, but the tournament's preliminary competitions are set to begin on Thursday evening.The Surrey Open tournament, which starts today, will continue until August 10. During this spring’s federal election, the Liberals promised to "move aggressively" to implement stricter bail laws by introducing a reverse onus for a number of offences.
