Five coyotes attack man, dog in south Edmonton

People in Edmonton are being warned to be wary of aggressive coyotes after a man and his dog were attacked by five of the animals in a south Edmonton park. The city says the dog-walker tried to scare the coyotes away but was not able to do so and both the dog and its owner were treated for minor injuries. coyotes attacked a man walking his dog near Thibault Park in Terwillegar around 10 a.m. on Tuesday. A Vancouver Police homicide investigation has led to the arrest of a suspect in the murder of a man in Crab Park in March. Brett MacDonald, 51, was shot on the north-west side of Crab Park along the gravel path just before 8:30 a.m. on March 22. He was found by a passerby who called police.
