SIT summoned Bikram Singh Majithia again

The Special Investigation Team investigating the multi-crore drug trafficking case of Punjab has issued fresh summons to the senior leader of the Shiromani Akali Dal, Bikram Singh Majithia. Majithia has been ordered to appear for questioning at Patiala on July 18. Earlier, the investigation team had withdrawn the previously issued summons, with which the petition filed by Majithia against the summons in the Punjab and Haryana High Court became ineffective.
