Amritpal's Aide Granted Parole for Mother's Last Rites

Amritpal Singh's associate, Basant Singh, who was lodged in Dibrugarh jail, has been brought to Punjab on parole. Basant Singh is from Daulatpura village in Moga district, Punjab. His mother recently passed away. The last rites of Basant Singh's mother were performed in the village under tight security. Authorities did not permit him to meet anyone during his visit.
