India: FIR registered against 76 people in over Rs 512 cr Karnala co-operative bank scam

Navi Mumbai Police has registered an FIR against 76 people, including an ex MLA under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code for alleged irregularities of over Rs 512 crores in the Karnala Nagari co-operative bank scam of over Rs 512 crores. Chandigarh: Soldiers killed in Pulwama attack remembered

The Rising India Youth Organisation on February 14 paid tribute to soldiers who lost their lives in 2019 Pulwama attack. People lit about 1100 candles at Punjab Universities' students centre. Accused killed woman, her children with iron rod: Delhi Police on Bhajanpura murder case

The accused who has been arrested in connection with the killing of five people of a family in Delhi's Bhajanpura confessed that he killed the woman and her children with an iron rod after getting into an argument over a money related matter, police said. Alok Kumar, Joint CP Eastern Range, said, "Accused is 28-year-old and has been arrested from Delhi. He has said that he got into fight with deceased over money after which he killed the woman and her children with an iron rod. Later, he killed the woman's husband. Further investigation is on."

14 feared dead in bus-truck collision on Agra-Lucknow expressway near Firozabad

At least 14 persons were feared dead when a bus collided with a truck here on the Agra-Lucknow expressway on Wednesday night. "A double-decker private bus rammed into a stationary truck on Agra-Lucknow expressway at around 10 pm in the night. The bus driver did not take notice of the truck and hit it from behind. There were 40-45 passengers in the bus. There are many casualties and several people got injured. Around 10-14 casualties may be there," Sachindra Patel, SSP, Firozabad said.The injured have been sent to the Saifai Mini PGI for treatment.

Woman attacked by bear while walking dog in Squamish, B.C., wildlife area

British Columbia's Conservation Officer Service is warning residents after a bear attack this week in the Squamish area north of Vancouver.
