Tailor Kanhaiya Lal, who was beheaded in Udaipur in Rajasthan by two men for allegedly posting content in support of suspended BJP leader Nupur Sharma, has created a public outcry. Punjab budget: Expert fears state might enter debt trap soon
After the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government presented its first budget in Punjab with the announcement of no new tax and free electricity from July 1, an economic expert believes that this will push the state into a debt trap in near future.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made India's position clear on the Ukraine conflict at the G7 summit where he reiterated that there must be an immediate end to the hostilities and a resolution should be reached by choosing the path of dialogue and diplomacy, said Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra.

After learning about the demise of Sarabjit Singh's sister Dalbir Kaur, actor Randeep Hooda immediately rushed to Punjab from Mumbai to perform her last rites. Randeep and Dalbir Kaur formed a relationship during the shooting of Sarbjit.

Sidhu Moosewala murder: SC to hear on July 11 Lawrence Bishnoi's father's plea challenging transit remand
The Supreme Court of India on Monday said that it will hear on July 11, the plea of accused Lawrence Bishnoi's father challenging the transit remand to Punjab police.
His father's Advocate Sangram Singh also stated that Lawrence is not getting any legal assistance in Mansa, Punjab.
The bench of Justice Suryakant and Justice JB Pardiwala on Monday while fixing the matter for hearing on July 11, 2022, also observed that since the murder took place there Punjab Police should probe the case. Delhi witnesses dip in COVID cases, logs 1,447 fresh infections in last 24 hours
The national capital witnessed a dip in the new COVID-19 cases with 1,447 fresh infections recorded in the last 24 hours, according to a health bulletin by the Delhi government on Friday.
The city had recorded 1,934 new cases yesterday.
With this, the active cases in the city are reduced from 5,755 cases on Thursday to 5,507 today.
As many as 24,203 COVID tests were conducted in the last 24 hours with a daily case positivity rate of 5.98 per cent, which was 8.10 per cent on Thursday.
