British Columbia health officials say there are COVID-19 outbreaks in five independent and assisted living care homes in the province. In a news release Monday, they say four of the outbreaks are in the Fraser Health region while one is in Northern Health. The BC RCMP has notified the Independent Investigations Office of British Columbia (IIO BC) of an incident in Surrey resulting in one man’s death. Police investigate ATV fatality in Nanaimo

At approximately 6:30 am on Sunday July 4, 2021, the Nanaimo RCMP were notified by the BC Ambulance Service of a fatal ATV incident involving a 38-year-old Nanaimo man. 97-year-old Kelowna man dies after mobility scooter collision with charter bus

A 97-year-old Kelowna man has died after a collision involving his mobility scooter and a charter bus on Sunday afternoon, according to the RCMP.
