Amid the ongoing war with Israel, Iran has allowed foreign nationals to leave the country. According to sources, India has spoken to the Armenian ambassador in Iran to evacuate its students.
The students will be evacuated from the Armenian border by buses. There are about 10,000 Indians in Iran, including 1,500 students. The Iranian Foreign Ministry has said that in the current situation, although the country's airports are closed, the land borders are open.

Sikander Singh Maluka rejoins Akali Dal
Former Punjab cabinet minister Sikander Singh Maluka has rejoined the Shiromani Akali Dal. He has returned to the party exactly a year after being removed from the post of the head of the disciplinary committee of the Shiromani Akali Dal. President Sukhbir Singh Badal made him join the party.

One missing, three escaped, after car went into Squamish River
RCMP in British Columbia say one person is missing after a vehicle crashed into the Squamish River.
Mounties in Squamish say emergency crews responded early Saturday after a vehicle with four occupants drove off the road into the river.
Police say three people were able to get to safety but one person was missing.
Officers, along with the Squamish fire department and search-and-rescue crews, tried to locate both the vehicle and the missing person, but failed.
Search-and-rescue crews are continuing efforts to locate the missing person.
Police say further details will be released later.

CF-18 jets intercept plane violating restricted air space above G7 site in Alberta
Canadian fighter jets were deployed to intercept a private, civilian plane that violated restricted airspace above Kananaskis, Alta., where G7 leaders are gathering for meetings.
RCMP say in a news release that the fixed-wing Canadian aircraft entered the restricted area shortly after 11 a.m. Sunday, and NORAD’s Canadian region deployed CF-18 Hornet fighter jets to intercept it.
