On February 18, 2024, at 3:00 a.m., a minivan and a Tesla collided on the side of Highway 1 near the Sprott Street exit in Burnaby, BC. An Indian-origin man in the US has been sentenced to more than six years in prison for a fraud scheme in which he defrauded more than a million dollars by targeting senior citizens. A man was killed in a shooting incident in Surrey in broad daylight on Wednesday.
