Bernie Sanders is celebrating his Nevada caucus victory hundreds of kilometres away in Texas.The 78-year-old Vermont senator took the stage before thousands of cheering supporters inside the Cowboys Dance Hall in San Antonio declaring, "We're going to win this election. Canadian cruise ship passengers arrive in Cornwall, Ontario
Canadian passengers who spent weeks stuck in their cabins aboard the Diamond Princess cruise ship have arrived in Cornwall, Ontario. They were flown out of Japan overnight, then bused to a NAV Canada centre, where they will spend an additional quarantine period. Forty-seven Canadians are still in Japan receiving treatment for the new coronavirus.Also today, the Canadian evacuees from Wuhan, China are being released from quarantine at CFB Trenton, Ontario.Health Minister Patty Hajdu (HY'-doo) says the government is helping them with their travel plans.

Blair says RCMP have met Wet'suwet'en conditions

Canadians aboard coronavirus-ridden cruise ship to return home tonight
Healthy Canadians from the Diamond Princess cruise ship will shortly be heading home, according to Canada's foreign affairs minister, after weeks under quarantine for the novel coronavirus, or COVID-19.The ship, docked in Yokohama, Japan, contained the largest outbreak of the virus outside China, with hundreds of passengers having tested positive. Among the infected are 47 Canadians who will have to remain in Japan for treatment.Foreign Affairs Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne said Wednesday that passengers would be screened before boarding a chartered flight Thursday evening, Japan time.T

Francois-Philippe Champagne: Process of taking chartered Canadian jet to start today
Foreign Affairs Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne says Canadians who want to leave Japan where they were stuck on board a quarantined cruise ship, can begin the process of taking a chartered jet today evening.
That could mean they will be back in Canada on Friday, when they will be taken to a hotel in Cornwall, Ontario for another two-weeks' isolation.
About 500 healthy passengers have been allowed to leave the Diamond Princess.
The 47 Canadians who have symptoms of COVID-19 will have to stay in Japan for treatment.

Punjab MLA Pargat Singh on 'Sver Wala Show': No plan yet of joining any other front
Pargat Singh joined Vijay Saini in 'Sver Wala Show' this morning and expressed hope that there will be some action on issues raised by him in his letter to and meeting with Chief Minister, Capt. Amarinder Singh.
Singh said he hasn’t considered leaving the party and joining any other front yet.
He said he meets Navjot Singh Sidhu often but hasn’t had a chance to meet Sidhu since this meeting with the Chief Minister.

Passengers begin leaving after ship's virus quarantine ends
Hundreds of passengers began leaving the Diamond Princess cruise ship Wednesday after the end of a much criticized, two week quarantine that failed to stop the spread of a new virus among passengers and crew.
Officials still were continuing tests for the coronavirus that has sickened tens of thousands of people in China and more than 540 on the ship.
Some passengers said on Twitter they received health check forms asking if they had any symptoms such as headache, fever, cough.
Passengers who tested negative and had no symptoms still had to get their body temperature checked before leaving. A J
