The sentencing of former Canadian Football League wide receiver Joshua Boden for the murder of a woman in 2009 has been rescheduled to June 16. Justice Arne Silverman read a memorandum in B.C. Supreme Court from Associate Chief Justice Heather Holmes, saying Justice Barry Davies was unable to continue with the matter and Silverman has been tasked with the proceedings. Defence Minister Anita Anand says Canada is shipping 20,000 rounds of artillery ammunition to Ukraine.Anand says the ammunition is ``exactly'' what Ukraine's government asked for from its allies. She says the rounds are the standard NATO artillery calibre and compatible with the artillery guns provided to Ukraine by Canada and other countries. Schools and roads are closed in some parts of Ontario today as crews work to clear downed trees and power lines. Local states of emergency remain in effect in Clarence-Rockland, east of Ottawa and Uxbridge, northeast of Toronto. At least 10 people died when a powerful storm with high winds blew across southern and eastern Ontario and into Quebec on Saturday afternoon. Utilities say it could take days to get everyone's power back on.

Denmark to provide Harpoon Anti-Ship Missiles, Launchers to Ukraine
Denmark is providing Ukraine with a Harpoon launcher and missiles to defend its coasts amid Russia's special military operation, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said on Monday.
"Grateful to Denmark, which announced today that it will provide a harpoon launcher and missiles to help Ukraine defend its coast," Austin said during a press conference after the second meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group.

Abu Dhabi says 2 killed, 120 injured in gas cylinder blast
A gas cylinder explosion in the capital of the United Arab Emirates killed two people and injured 120 others Monday, police said.
Abu Dhabi police initially acknowledged the mid-day blast Monday, but offered no casualty figures.
Hours later, they gave them, offering only a few photos of broken glass in the street.
Abu Dhabi Police said a gas cylinder had exploded in a restaurant in Khalidiya. The police added that out of the 120 injured, 64 sustained minor injuries and 56 sustained moderate injuries. The wounded were transferred to the hospital.
