By-elections for 4 more assembly seats may be announced in Punjab soon. These are the seats from where sitting MLAs have now become MPs. These assembly seats include Dera Baba Nanak, Giddarbaha, Barnala and Chabewal assembly constituency of Hoshiarpur. According to the rules, MLAs Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Amarinder Singh Raja Waring and Gurmeet Singh Meet Hare, who won the Lok Sabha elections, will have to resign before June 20.
