Sukhbir Badal responsible for the defeat of Akali Dal: Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa

Shiromani Akali Dal patron Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa has blamed Sukhbir Singh Badal for the party's defeat in the Lok Sabha elections and has said that Badal should resign immediately.

Dhindsa said that whether the party accepts this demand or not is a different matter. He also said that it is very unfortunate that the Congress, which was responsible for Operation Bluestar, won seven seats from Punjab, that too in the same days when this operation took place in June 1984.

It is to be noted that Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa returned to the Shiromani Akali Dal before the Lok Sabha elections along with his supporters after 6 years.
