All of 19 Kuwar Amritbir Singh, a fitness influencer from Batala is creating waves in the fitness circle with his fitness fundas. Kuwar has already made a mark in India Book of Records and World Records of India by following his passion for fitness.

His list of achievements is unending, however, one skill definitely makes him stand apart from the crowd. Kuwar can do over 120 knuckle pushups in 60 seconds. When he was just 17, he made the record by doing 118 knuckle pushups in a minute.

His last record for India Book of Records was 35 superman push-ups in 30 seconds. He has also been nominated for Karamveer Chakra award.

Talking to ConnectFM Canada, this young fitness enthusiast said that he got into fitness when he was just 16. “Currently I am pursuing my bachelor’s degree in physical education, and one day, I aspire to make my mark in the fitness world.”

About his daily schedule, Kuwar shared that his day starts around 5.30 am, followed by a two-hours workout. “In the evening, I prefer to do cross fit workouts to keep myself agile,” he added.

Kuwar has never entered a fancy gym even once, in fact, he has made one at his home at Umarwala village. “I have learnt the fitness skills on my own. I use gunny bags full of sand and cemented plastic cans for building strength.”

A recipient of the Youth Icon award from his district, Kuwar wants to inspire youngsters to do something different in life. “I try to motivate people to adopt a healthy lifestyle.”

As for films or reality shows, Kuwar would want to try his luck in Punjabi films as an action hero as well. “I am in talks with various filmmakers, rest, let’s see,” he added with a smile.
