Film Fraternity Mourns at Kuku Kohli’s Funeral, Aruna Irani Gets Emotional

Veteran actress Aruna Irani was overcome with emotion as she bid a final farewell to her husband and renowned filmmaker Kuku Kohli, whose last rites were performed at Oshiwara Crematorium in Mumbai on Wednesday.

Kuku Kohli passed away on Tuesday at the age of 77 after suffering a heart attack at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai.

His final journey began at around 10 a.m. from his residence, Green Acres, in Lokhandwala Complex, Andheri West, and proceeded to the Oshiwara Crematorium. During the funeral procession, Aruna Irani was seen in tears and struggled to hold back her emotions as she said goodbye to her husband.

Several prominent personalities from the film industry attended the funeral to pay their last respects to Kuku Kohli. Bollywood stars Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif, filmmaker Rohit Shetty, actor Rajpal Yadav and lyricist Javed Akhtar were among those who gathered at the crematorium to bid him a final farewell.
