The Punjab and Haryana High Court has rejected the regular bail plea of Joginder Singh alias Joga, an accused in the murder case of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.
The court observed that Joga was allegedly among the key conspirators in the case and had a previous criminal record. According to the court, he not only provided shelter to the alleged attackers but also supplied a weapon to one of his associates.
The court further said there was a strong possibility that Joga could tamper with evidence or influence witnesses if released on bail.
Joga had sought regular bail in the case registered at the City-1 police station in Mansa on May 29, 2022, under murder and other relevant sections.
Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead on May 29, 2022, in Jawaharke village near Mansa, Punjab.
