If you’ve watched Salman Khan’s most awaited film Radhe, and have managed to come out of it without a scratch, we’d recommend your name for ‘The Highest Honour.’

Although the film can be summed up in one single word, ‘buffoonery’, I'd still like to elaborate on this attribute that only a few films have managed to secure.

For one, don’t expect the 55 -plus something Salman Khan aka Radhe, in the film what you get is an all dolled up, pan caked kissed Salman Khan who can tear through a glass window without a splinter tearing of the plastic from his face, he can take blows from an iron rod with literally no foundation coming off!

So, well, Radhe is a story of a cop who sets out to clean Mumbai of the drug mafia run by otherwise sensible actor Randeep Hooda and a reality show contestant Gautam Gulati and one more person!

In the end, Radhe does manage to kill the villains but not without breaking into a good-knows-why-the-hell item number with his favourite Jacqueline Fernandez, not without spewing good-knows-who-wrote-the-hell dialogues, not without romancing Disha Patani, who wears the skimpiest clothes (she is the only one who cares about the financial loss Bollywood had to incur during Covid), and not without fighting 20, 30, 40 goons at one time with an ice cream cone!

For those of you who are expecting that I should talk about the story, screenplay and even dialogues for Radhe- Your Most Wanted Bhai, well, some things should be left unsaid!

As the saying goes, Dukhti rag pe haath nahi rakhte!

Also, my 20/10 vision was unable to find even a tiny hint of story, script or acting in this film. I tried my level best, swallowed 2 painkillers, had plenty of cola to keep me awake, stuffed my mouth with sweetened caramel, yet, I couldn’t find anything that looked like acting or script.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that the film is directed by Prabhudeva. Does it matter! On second thoughts, the film also stars Jackie Shroff, Randeep Hooda, Sudhanshu Pandey, Megha Akash, Gautam Gulati, Darshan Jariwala, Vishwajeet Pradhan. Again, does it matter!

Inside the Mind of a Monster: Watching Ed Gein Was a Study I Didn’t Expect to Survive

Series Review Jasmine Singh After Dahmer and The Menendez Brothers, I wasn’t sure if I had it in me to watch another monster unfold on screen. Netflix had been pushing Monster: The Ed Gein Story into my recommendations every time I logged in—like it knew I was circling the edge of clicking. And as a student of social anthropology, especially interested in the grey zone where psychology meets society, I wondered: What could I possibly learn from watching another broken man commit unthinkable acts? Eventually, curiosity won. Or maybe it was academic guilt. Either way, I pressed play—and
