Punjabi film actress Sargun Mehta took to her social media to announce her upcoming Punjabi film, Moh. Sargun will be sharing screen space with Late Surjit Bindrakhia’s son, Gitaz. Moh will be directed by popular Punjabi film director Jagdeep Sidhu. Sargun shared the first look poster of the film on her Instagram. Gitaz and Sargun will be seen together on the silver screen for the first time.

Actor Niddhi Agerwal will be seen sharing screen space with actor Sonu Sood in an upcoming song that has been choreographed by Farah Khan. Taking to Twitter, Sonu posted a picture of him posing with Farah and Niddhi from the sets of the song. "Creating some magic together @TheFarahKhan @AgerwalNidhhi," he captioned the post. The team has shot the song in Punjab. Farah, too, took to Instagram and expressed her happiness on collaborating with Sonu after a long time. "All things Punjabi...Chandigarh, tractors and Sonu Sood. Shooting with you is always fun," she posted.

Punjabi singers Sidhu Moosewala and Afsana Khan took to their social media handle to share a series of pictures of the two with Bollywood music director Salim Merchant, hinting at a possibility of a collaboration. Rumour has it that Bollywood’s popular jodi Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez will mark their debut in the Punjabi entertainment industry. As per sources, the two stars will be featured in Punjabi singer-actor Harrdy Sandhu’s next romantic musical video. The lyrics of the song will be penned by lyricist Jaani and the music will be produced by B Praak under Desi Melodies banner.

The film is written and directed by Amar Hundal. The release date of the film is yet to be announced. Punjabi sufi singer Manmeet Singh apparently died after slipping and falling into a rivulet in the Kareri lake area of Himachal Pradesh's Kangra district, police said on Wednesday. The body of one-half of Punjab's famed Sain brothers was recovered from the Kareri lake area on Tuesday evening. According to McLeod Ganj Police SHO, Vipin Kumar, the singer and his friends had gone to two groups to the lake area above Mcleodganj in Dharamshala and had apparently slipped and fallen into the lake crossing a rivulet.
