Recently Punjabi artist Sidhu Moosewala, (posthumously) has been awarded with Dada Saheb Phalke Award.

The award was received by Afsana Khan and her husband Saajz. The duo went on to the stage, accepted the highly acclaimed award on the behalf of Sidhu Moosewala.

Afsana was also requested to sing a few lines from Sidhu Moosewala's songs, and the singer chose to sing a chunk from Sidhu’s viral song 295 and also performed his signature thaapi!

Afsana took it to her Instagram account and shared the video of the same. And in the caption, she also quoted, ‘Legends Never Die’.

Dada Saheb Phalke Awards are the highest awards in the field of cinema in India.
