Angrej goes to Australia
The news regarding reopening of cinema halls in Australia has come as good news for Punjabi film industry. Actress Sargun Mehta took to her social media handle to announce that her film Angrej opposite Amrinder Gill is all set to show again in theatres in Australia from July 16. Ammy’s next film is with Sargun, yet again!
Actor Ammy Virk recently took to social media to reveal the name of his upcoming project, titled Saukan Saunkne. In this film, Ammy will share screen space with Sargun Mehta and Nimrat Khaira. Ali Abbas Zafar’s next with Diljit Dosanjh
Filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar of Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai fame is in talks with singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh for a film based on the riots of 1984. As per reports, the film might begin after the COVID situation gets better. Ali Abbas Zafar is expected to be creatively involved in the script apart from producing it. Film shootings re-assume in Punjab
In the first public announcement delivered through a live Facebook feed, Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh said that he has allowed shootings of films and music to resume in the state.
