Bollywood has a new ichhadhaari naagin

After impressive performances in films like Stree and Chhichhore, Shraddha Kapoor is now all set to play the role of a naagin in an upcoming three-film series.

The untitled film will be helmed by Vishal Furia of Lapachhapi fame. Shraddha is excited to play naagin on screen. Speaking to a web portal, Shraddha said that she has been watching, admiring and idolising Sridevi ma’am in Nagina and Nigahen and always wanted to play a similar role that is rooted in Indian folklore.

The film is being produced by Nikhil Dwivedi, which is a love story that will be made into a trilogy dominated by visual effects.

Let’s see if Shraddha can play the role of a ichhadhaari naagin better than actresses Reena Roy, Rekha and Sridevi who have essayed similar roles before.
