Gang Members Arrested in Firing Case at Singer Gulab Sidhu’s House
Police have arrested members of a gang allegedly involved in firing at the residence of Punjabi singer Gulab Sidhu in Barnala.
According to Patiala Range DIG Kuldeep Singh Chahal, the incident took place during the intervening night of September 12 and 13, 2026, when motorcycle-borne assailants opened fire at the main gate of Gulab Sidhu’s house in village Chhanna. The responsibility for the attack was later claimed on social media by criminals based abroad.

Sidhu Moosewala’s New Song ‘Ghostface Killah’ Released
The new song ‘Ghostface Killah’ by late Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, popularly known as Sidhu Moosewala, has been officially released.
The song was uploaded to Sidhu Moosewala’s official YouTube channel at around 5:50 p.m. on Monday. It has received a strong response from fans within hours of its release.
Within about six hours, the official video had crossed 1.8 million views, received more than 377,000 likes and garnered over 89,000 comments on YouTube.
The video had already surpassed 1.651 million views and 364,000 likes within its first five hours of release.

Moosewala Murder Case: Court Sets October 9 for Hearing on Anmol Bishnoi’s Production Warrant
The Mansa Sessions Court has scheduled October 9 for the next hearing in the high-profile murder case of late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala and for arguments on an application seeking production warrants for gangster Anmol Bishnoi.
Bishnoi’s lawyer had filed an application on February 27 seeking his transfer from Delhi’s Tihar Jail to Mansa and his custody in connection with the case. The Punjab government’s long-pending response to the application has now been submitted before the court.

Gurnam Bhullar Announces New Punjabi Film ‘Ve Faqeera’, Releasing May 2027
Punjabi singer and actor Gurnam Bhullar has announced his new Punjabi film ‘Ve Faqeera’, following the success of his film Ishqan De Lekhe with Eisha Malviya.
The film is scheduled to hit cinemas on May 14, 2027. Gurnam Bhullar shared the film’s poster on social media while announcing its release date. The poster suggests that Ve Faqeera will be a romantic love story.
This will mark the second collaboration between Gurnam Bhullar and Eisha Malviya. The duo was previously seen together in Ishqan De Lekhe, where their on-screen chemistry received appreciation from audiences.

Supreme Court Gives Rajpal Yadav 2 Weeks to Repay Dues
The Supreme Court on Tuesday gave actor Rajpal Yadav a final two-week opportunity to come up with a concrete proposal to repay money allegedly owed to a private company. The court also directed him to deposit ₹2 crore with the court registry.
The complainant alleged that Yadav had issued seven cheques worth ₹1.05 crore each in 2013 to settle financial assistance of ₹5 crore provided for a film in 2010. The company claims that the cheques were dishonoured.
