Sigh of relief for Shehnaz Gill
The Punjab and Haryana High Court has declined to interfere with the appellate court's order, which determined that singer and Bigg Boss reality star Shahnaz Gill cannot be forced to sing exclusively for one music company she signed with in 2019. The court observed that the terms of the contract were "unfair" and lacked equal bargaining power.
Shehnaz Gill entered the contract "in a hurry" with Simran Music in 2019, before joining the TV show Bigg Boss, and the terms prohibited her from singing for any other company.
