Terrible heat continues in Uttar Pradesh. On Friday, a total of 13 persons, including seven home guards posted at other places, died due to extreme heat in the Divisional Hospital of Mirzapur.

On receiving the information about the death of five home guards on election duty, a clerk posted in the CMO office and a sweeper, District Election Officer Priyanka Niranjan, Superintendent of Police Abhinandan and Principal of the Medical College Darb Kamal reached the hospital and inquired about the incident.
