Delhi witnesses dip in COVID cases, logs 1,447 fresh infections in last 24 hours

The national capital witnessed a dip in the new COVID-19 cases with 1,447 fresh infections recorded in the last 24 hours, according to a health bulletin by the Delhi government on Friday. The city had recorded 1,934 new cases yesterday. With this, the active cases in the city are reduced from 5,755 cases on Thursday to 5,507 today. As many as 24,203 COVID tests were conducted in the last 24 hours with a daily case positivity rate of 5.98 per cent, which was 8.10 per cent on Thursday.
