Thompson RCMP respond to fatal residential fire

On October 26, 2022, at approximately 8:40 pm, officers from the Thompson RCMP detachment were dealing with a call in the 100 block of Queens Bay when they heard noise coming from a home further down the street. A significant amount of smoke could also be seen coming from the residence. Officers, along with Thompson Fire and Emergency Services, arrived on scene to find a residence fully engulfed in flames.
