Veteran actor Deb Mukherjee passes away

Deb Mukherjee, the renowned actor and father of filmmaker Ayan Mukerji, passed away on Friday morning at the age of 83. He was a familiar face during the annual Durga Puja celebrations hosted by Kajol and Rani Mukerji, often spotted by the paparazzi. On Saturday, Kiara Advani and Ajay Devgn visited Ayan's Mumbai home to pay their respects and offer support during this difficult time.

Deb Mukherjee, a respected member of the Samarth-Mukherjee family, was not only a father to Ayan but also the father-in-law of director Ashutosh Gowariker. Several celebrities, including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Anil Kapoor, Kajol, Kiara Advani gathered to honor and say their goodbyes to Deb.
