After more than thirty years, the legendary Pankaj Kapur is making a grand and emotional return to Punjabi cinema with Raavi De Kande, a powerful family drama set to release globally on September 5, 2025. This long-awaited comeback marks a significant cinematic moment, not only for fans of the veteran actor but also for Punjabi film lovers around the world. Directed by the acclaimed Harry Bhatti, known for his grounded and emotionally charged storytelling, the film dives deep into the heart of Punjab’s cultural and emotional landscape, painting a portrait of love, sacrifice, and generational connection that promises to leave a lasting impact.

Set against the symbolic flow of the Raavi River, the story navigates the ties that bind families.

Joining Pankaj Kapur is a stellar ensemble cast including Harish Verma, Dheeraj Kumar, Sandeep Kaur Sidhu, Arvinder Kaue, Tia, B.N. Sharma, Sukhi Chahal, and Navdeep Kaler, each delivering heartfelt performances that elevate the film’s authenticity and depth.

The film has been written by Jass Grewal and produced by Jitender Chauhan and Sandeep Kaur Sidhu under JSRP Root Productions. With Zee Studios backing the worldwide release, Raavi De Kande is poised to reach audiences across continents, touching hearts far beyond Punjab’s borders.
